Sunqu Misti Jewelry is handmade mixed metal (silver, brass & copper) and stone jewelry by metalsmith, Michelle Smith Meza.
She was born at the foot of El Misti volcano in Arequipa, Peru and raised in So. California, where she still resides.

 

She merges the influences from her mixed roots into her designs by blending cultural and visual elements from her mother’s Peruvian heritage with her father’s love of metals as a Tool & Die machinist from Tennessee.

 

Elements of nature and geometric designs are recurring themes found in Sunqu Misti’s  one of a kind jewelry pieces that feel both ancient and modern, as well as organic and man made.
